Why I believe every athlete and founder deserves mental coaching

I’ve seen a lot of people pour their whole selves into something whether it’s chasing a dream on the court or trying to bring an idea to life in a startup. I’ve been one of those people too. And I’ve learned that when things get tough (and they always do), talent or ambition alone doesn’t carry you through. Mindset does!

My own story started with basketball. I played competitively in Finland and for a long time, the game shaped my identity. When I left that behind to explore other paths, coaching naturally became my way to stay connected first in sports, then in business. Eventually, I went deeper and studied physical coaching, nutrition, and then psychology earning my Bachelor’s in Health Psychology and my Master’s in Sport & Performance Psychology.

But it wasn’t until I started working with actual teams like LePy Basketball and Lean Consulting that I realized something important: performance pressure isn’t just for athletes. Founders feel it too. So do early-stage teams. So do high-achieving professionals trying to lead and build something that matters.

And the truth is, most of us weren’t taught how to handle that pressure not in a sustainable way.
We push harder, grind more, burn out, or freeze. We try to outwork the inner noise instead of learning to manage it.

That’s where mental coaching comes in.

Over time, I developed three programs to support the people I was seeing again and again in my work:

1:1 coaching sessions

For athletes, entrepreneurs, and professionals who want to work through challenges with someone in their corner. These aren’t “just one-off sessions” we start where you are, and if it feels right, we keep going. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just ready to level up mentally we tailor it to you.

5-week program fro startups and teams

I created this after working with startup founders who told me they were tired not just physically, but mentally. They were craving more clarity, more alignment, and better ways to handle stress without burning out. This program is structured but human. It focuses on values, mindset, and sustainable execution all things people skip until it’s too late.

Athletes workshops

Athletes face unique pressure. These workshops are for individuals or teams who want to sharpen their focus, build confidence, and stay steady under pressure. Whether you’re competing every weekend or just trying to stay consistent, the tools we work on here translate from game day to daily life.

I’m not here to give you quick fixes. What I offer is a space to think differently, perform intentionally, and grow with more clarity. If you’ve ever felt like your mind has been the biggest block (or your greatest weapon), you’re not alone. And this space was made for you.
