Who am I?

My journey into sport and performance psychology began on the basketball courts of Finland. I played at a high level in my youth, but eventually stepped away to explore other paths. Even after my competitive career ended, my love for sports remained. I found myself playing casually with anyone, anywhere, and soon after, began coaching basketball.

To deepen my understanding, I studied physical coaching and nutrition. But what stood out to me the most during those studies was the mental side of performance. That curiosity led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Health Psychology, and eventually a Master’s degree in Sport and Performance Psychology.

Along the way, I’ve worn many hats from basketball coach to physical coach to construction worker each one shaping how I work with people today. Most recently, I’ve worked with Leppävaaran Pyrintö, supporting both their Women’s and U19 teams. This experience has taught me how to run effective one-on-one mental coaching sessions and support players with diverse goals and challenges whether it’s handling pressure, regaining confidence, or finding clarity in their performance.

Now, I bring everything I’ve learned as a player, coach, and psychologist into my work with athletes, founders, and high-performing teams. My goal is to help people perform with purpose, under pressure, and with a strong sense of self.

Why I work with founders?

I come from a family of entrepreneurs, and I’ve seen that same spirit show up in many of my closest friends. Over the years, I’ve watched people around me launch amazing ideas some brilliant, some less so but what stuck with me wasn’t the quality of the idea. It was the mindset behind it.

What I’ve observed is that running a business takes far more work, reflection, and mental energy than most people expect. Some great ideas fail due to burnout or lack of direction, while some less conventional ones succeed because they’re built with more mindful energy and psychological grounding.

Now, as part of a founding team myself, I’m reminded every day how much resilience, mindset, and stress management matter. The business you have, may not be defined by psychological factors, but taking care of those can make the difference between burning out and breaking through.

How I work?

I take a holistic and personalized approach to coaching, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of my clients. I’ve had the opportunity to work with people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures and while I don’t claim to know everything, I stay open, curious, and committed to learning so I can support the people I work with in the best way possible.

My coaching is grounded in two values: respect and honesty. These values help me build safe, effective relationships where people feel seen, supported, and challenged to grow.
